Lolly Hinkle
I started making sterling silver jewelry in a high school art class, continued for several years, and then set it aside for a couple of decades.
In 1999, I happened to connect with Patty Conlin and her work, and she took me on as an apprentice, got me restarted making silver jewelry and taught me goldsmithing. I also work with mixed metals.
I use a lot of found objects to make my pendants and other pieces. Sometimes I come across odds-and-ends which sit for months or even years before the vision hits me as to how to incorporate them in a piece.
